William D. Ballard



Bill provides a full range of financial and analytical advisory services to real estate investors, developers, landlords, users and lenders that enable them to expeditiously make fully informed and intelligent real estate decisions in the midst of today’s complex and dynamic real estate environment. Ballard has held senior executive positions with several of the world’s largest and most prestigious commercial real estate firms that include Blackstone and CB Richard Ellis. His prior experience is summarized as follows:

Most recently, started and managed the financial and accounting divisions for IndCor Properties, Inc. (IndCor). IndCor currently owns over 100 million square feet of industrial properties across the US and is a holding of the Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX).

Represented property owners and investors with the acquisition/disposition of over $9 billion of multifamily and commercial assets, including over 20 million square feet of commercial assets, over 30,000 multifamily units and 1,000 acres of land.

Involved in the origination of over $2 billion of debt and equity financing, including funding over $100 million in equity and debt for a single project, over $200 million in equity for an investment fund, and over $100 million for the purchase of non-performing loans.

Provided tenant representation services for such prominent clients as Qualcomm Inc., Intel Corp., County of San Diego, Plexus Corp., Idec Pharmaceuticals, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, County of San Diego, San Diego Gas & Electric and Peregrine Systems, Inc.

Participated as a principal in the development, asset management, and financing of several large scale projects, including a $250 million resort and a $150 million mixed-use commercial development.
